Okay, first of all, if any of you want to send yourself straight to the trenches

We Need Backup at Fanfiction.net

Anyway, I'm just going to maintain hope that you're still out there beta-ing. Somewhere. If yeah, comment. If "No, what exactly was I supposed to do?" comment.

I am aware that we don't have a FAQ. I'm working on it. Got any questions? Comment.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions/comments/complaints, comment. Do you get the picture? Feedback, feedback, feedback.

...And We're Up!
Welcome to Guerilla Editors, a website devoted to helping those rogue editors who salivate for semicolons, who stare in awe at correct use of a comma and admire those stately periods.

THE MISSION-- is to bring literacy to the internet, whether it is blogs, newsfeeds, or fiction. We are currently looking for rogue editors who are willing to correct stories that they find problems with on the internet. Guerilla Editors was created as a multi-fandom and internet literacy community, founded on the values of grammar guides everywhere. It was created as a safe haven for grammar sticklers and a resource for writers who just want to make sure. It is a beta's watering hole.

Here's how to do it...if its a blog or has a place for reviews/comments/feedback (comment boxes and guestbooks are optimal) and copy the story and make your correcions in a different color. Then email it to the writer or leave a comment with the text in question. Don't forget to link back to the Guerilla Editor homepage so they can get an explanation, or even join the movement!

HOW TO BECOME A GUERILLA EDITOR-- Easily! First just fill out this short questionaire:

Name or Nickname
LJ screenname
Short Bio (for Meet the Squad Page)
And Properly punctuate this sentence--
Jane and Harry said together we don't want to wash our faces and huffily marched off.

And send that to editorattack@gmail.com or leave a comment on this message.

And we'll add you to the database. Writers may contact you, or you may have to seek out writers. If you email us a copy of your finished editing attack, we'll add it to your achievements list, and you may even get inducted into the Hall of Fame!
Remember, this can take as long as you want it to take. You can do a story a week or three a day.

Happy Editing!
